Christmas Deadlines

It's always a bit of a guessing game with Canada Post. They say December 14th for expedited parcels. We do send all your orders by expedited post. Here's my best guesses: BC orders until December 19th. Outside BC--the 15th or 16th should work. But not guaranteed--if you want guaranteed then you'll have to arrange with us for Xpresspost--the deadline for that is December 20th. December 20th is our last day of work before closing for the holidays. We will re-open January 2nd, 2012.

Shipping Rates 

Shipping rates are based on the amount of purchase. Any purchase originating in Canada, up to $26.00 (before tax), will be charged $5.00 flat rate shipping regardless of the destination within Canada. Any purchase over $26 (before tax) will cost $9.95 shipping and will be sent Expedited Canada Post. (Unless you live in BC in which case we will charge you $7.90. Because we're nice.) You will receive an email upon shipment and a tracking number if by Expedited Post.

We pack and ship to all Canadian and International destinations within 48 hours of receiving your order. US bound orders ship Tuesdays and Fridays. You will receive your order within 1 to 8 business days depending on the distance from Vancouver. If you live in metro Vancouver you may receive your parcel by the next day. If, however, you live in Newfoundland, it will take considerably longer for the Pony Express to reach you.

If you are in a big hurry, please call our offices or send us an email and we will assist you with Expresspost shipping. This will cost more and only be slighter faster. If you want to spend significantly more for shipping, we can arrange for shipping with FedEx or UPS. This will be fast, but expensive. In any case, we are happy to help.  

Customs and Duties

Polar Feet are not subject to duties and taxes when shipped to the United States as they are made in Canada and qualify under the Free Trade Agreement.

Outside the USA and Canada your order may be subject to duties and taxes charged by the destination country. Polar Feet is not responsible for the collection or payment of destination duties or taxes. Any additional duties or taxes will be the responsibility of the receiver. Charges will vary from country to country. For more information on your country’s customs policy, please contact your local customs office.
